Two GREAT reasons why Tanky Champs need the next Class Overhaul
UNIQUE Passive - Lament: The last champion hit deals 12% less damage to you (ends after 10 seconds of not hitting).
UNIQUE: Channels for 1.5 seconds to gain a Spell Shield spell shield that blocks the next enemy ability within the next 10 seconds (45 second cooldown). Damage from an enemy champion will interrupt the channel. You can move while channeling. If the channel is interrupted, the item is put on a reduced 5 second cooldown.
Phantom dancer is an amazing item to deal damage with, and yet it makes you receive less damage. On an item ADC are meant to purchase? That passive screams "buy me so the ADC kiting you doesn't kill you too fast" but instead the item says "hahaha I'm going to kill you so fast and now you can't do anything about it." Please, why isn't this passive on something that builds out of Giants Belt? Or Glacial Shroud?
That spell shield... would be amazing for any initiator that has to get into close range. Skarner, Rammus, any juggernaut. Instead its designed for a class of champions that allready have a lot of tools for avoiding/kiting/dodging the abilities it is supposed to counter.
Tanks have received ZERO items with fun actives, except for Zrot, which isn't an incombat active. EVER. In the history of LoL the only 2 in combat active items are Randuins and Locket. The 'passive' actives are really incredibly boring and typically non interactive. Do you count Face, which is a support item? I don't.
if you are going to give two abiltiies to damage dealers that tanks would figuratively die to you, you can at least promise us some fun things in the future. BECAUSE RIGHT NOW TANKING ISN'T Fun, because our builds have not changed in almost 3 years. IB4 someone thinks juggernaut items help tanks.
as a support.
But that's more of A Tank support item than a Tank item.
????????
Damage reduction.
Regeneration.
and Cooldown Reduction!
Active.. o3o But that seems really OP OP..

. Kinda tanky, but not really, champions designed to dive in and stay in a fight until they die, or the enemy team dies. Unlike Assassins and Skirmishers, they have the mobility to get in, but not the mobility to get out, so instead they have tank steroids in their kits.
