Is there any reason to build Steraks and Maw anymore?

I'm seeing this in builds and I don't get it.

Not really.

Sterak's Gage was nerfed rather severely due to ADCs abusing it and Maw of Malmortius isn't really that useful at the moment.

While Hexdrinker is useful during the laning phase, Maw of Malmortius due to how heavily damage is amplified at the moment. You will likely just be killed through it.

Nah, Steraks is always good.

It's better if there's one main burst threat, and it lets you survive that.

It is good if you have a Sheen upgrade since it actually provides a decent damage boost.

I wouldn't bother with it otherwise since the damage is sub-par and there are better defensive items.

I honestly think all Garens should use this item, whether or not you want Trin. It really makes Garen insanely hard to kill, and he has a good base AD for it to scale off of. Plus all his abilities scale with AD and not bonus AD so it applies.

Well Steraks shield always works, but the damage is somewhat situational. It gives base AD and not bonus AD, so abilities that scale of bonus AD don't get any benefit. It's best on champions like Garen and Illaoi because they have AD scaling and not bonus AD scaling. It's also obviously good with Trin since that has a 200% AD scaling.

Both can be good on specific tanks or bruisers. Maw offers MR and AD, so you don't lose as much damage potential if you use it over another MR item. The shield on Maw isn't really that great but the stats can be. Steraks on the other hand has a much better shield, it can really help you with burst. Steraks also is the only item that increases base attack damage, and therefor Trin damage. I think Trin/Steraks Illaoi is really underated. (Steraks will add 108.75 to each Trin proc AA at max level on Illaoi, and the shield is great bulk)

I don't know about steraks. Maw is usefull but situational.

If you go Corki mid vs AP, you can pick up maw first to help you out. Of course this way you're getting your TF spike later so depends on the matchup. I'd get it if I'm facing a bursty AP champ.

A Juggernaut item. Buying the jaurims fist is the shitiest part paying for stats you don't get until after farming is complete BS. Wait for 50gp and get phage instead

Champion.GG can be rather weird for builds.

AFAIK, since not every game goes to 6 items, it will occasionally try to determine the probable 5th or 6th items using the data it has collected.

It isn't overly uncommon to see duplicated items in the final build due to this.

Yeah, but that's how it is for the first few days then it usually shakes out.
