My first time playing ranked and this happens.

I was the Kennen in this game, my bot lane lost their tower at 8 minutes because Nocturne was afk farming and I couldn't roam down due to Akali auto pushing waves under my tower. Riven ended up intentionally feeding and their Xayah and Zyra solo carried the game.

In this game, I played Shaco and secured 5 dragons for my team total, got 4 towers by split pushing and stole a baron from my deceive over the pit. I ganked bot so hard early game and gave Lucian a 4/1 Lead, but he ended up dying 5 times in a row and further on did nothing the rest of the game. Furthermore, Poppy was crying and bitching the entire game because Garen was beating her, and of course she in return blamed me and died 11 times. I was one shotting their Diana and Jhin, but I guess that wasn't enough because my team was just that incompetent.

Is this just how ranked is? Because if so, I'm just not even going to bother playing it.

It's not. Ranked can be like that. All team player versus player games can. Just play more and you'll find yourself in properly matched games. Also play during peak hours if possible. It's not perfect but I'd say like 3/4 of my games are fairly matched. Flex is worse than solo queue.

You're also playing between seasons which isn't a good representative time.

Edit: to expand on the last statement, many players aren't taking the ranked seriously at all, since it literally doesn't count except a slight influence on the start of placements next season. This happens every pre season

Pretty much always like this ngl. You can be completely ahead at one point and your team always finds a way to make you wanna ragequit or blames you for something they do.

You get a lot of this. What’s even sadde is when players don’t have to think. You call out objecgives, rotations, etc. and they don’t listen. It’s so tilting.

This is how it is when matchmaking ISN'T upset with you for winning too many games when it thinks you shouldn't be.
