Why is it that item 3165 Morellonomicon , an item that only affects Magic Damage, costs 2200 more gold than item 3123 Executioners Calling? It feels like Physical Damage champs have so much advantage over champions who fight mostly through sustain in a battle Mordekaiser Warwick Nasus . To my knowledge, Magic Damage champions don't have high a frequency of doing Physical damage through abilities, so the fact that Riven can purchase item 3123 to destroy a portion of laning phase against Lifesteal/Spellvamp blows my mind. It's understandable to have an item that can level the playing field against Heal, Lifesteal, and Spell Vamp champs, but why does it cost a measly 800 Gold? In my opinion, the item should cost 1100 so it's worth just as much as item 3133, maybe raise the stats to counterbalance it.

Because item 3123 only gives 15 AD and a passive

Morellonomicon gives that same passive, 70 AP, 300 HP, and 15 magic pen.

If you wanna really say things like "an item that only affects Magic Damage", you have to include that about the item you're tlaking about as well... Executioner's calling only affects physical damage.

Not every ad champion can buy item 3033 and use it effectively, but item 3165 has stats that are useful to every single mage in the game. Understand the difference?

Well to be fair , I think mages can get more out of item 3165 due to the amount of AOE spells mage's have . It's also usually a 2nd or 3rd buy anyways for mages. this item has and always will be strong

because item 3123 is a mid way item while item 3165 is a full item

Morello is a item that's useful on every mage on the game, as it grants a pool of stats desired by everyone of them.

Executioner's build path is only somewhat good in some ADCs and very specific champs like Jayce. So Executioner's is meant to be purchasable and not upgraded at all in some champs.

Remove the magic pen from oblivion orb and put grievous wounds on it instead, easy.
