Example.

Player 3 on blue team is playing Cho Gath.

Player 3 disconnects for over 3 minutes.

New section in League page allows you to find insta-ques but in exchange you get placed into that game, you can see both scores of the team and the gold you'll have.

Player 3 decides to accept despite being on the losing team, Player 3 continues as Cho-gath.

Game is over

Blue team lost.

Player 3 loses a bit less LP ( Only 2-4 less ) than a normal ranked game.

Seriously.

What makes you think people would opt-in to a game where they're going in at a known disadvantage (If somebody is disconnected long enough to show in the list, they will almost certainly be behind)?

maybe give them some extra gold and experience to help them catch up. and maybe some rewards like a lot of bonus ip, or chests, or an icon. Some people might do this sometimes if they just want a fast game, provided that they won't be guaranteed some tilt train to hell.

Ok have fun playing that 0/9 Cho'Gath at 30 minutes and losing full LP when the game ends in an FF 2 minutes later.

It would sure as hell make interesting bronze to challenger in losing teams only series for smurfs.
