UNPOPULAR OPINION ; Non skillshot global ultimates . . .

Such as Soraka 's ,Karthus ,Nocturne ,Shen and TwistedFate are bad for the game. Affecting your or the enemy team from across the map or the whole map,by just merely pressing a button is not really ˝fun˝. Don't get me wrong,the ultimates aren't even godly OP or bad,but it feels like they could made into a different ability (which is still global) ,but offers more power to the champion or more/less counter measures to the enemy.

Srsly tho,when was the last time you ever faced any of those champions and thought ˝Damn,they outplayed me so hard(with their Ultimate)˝ ? Let's be honest, TF is either frustrating to face cause of the tp +goldcard combo(not to mention the powerful global reveal) , Soraka and GW is issue on it's own, Shen can just fck up the power dynamic of any lane, if Noc is good he's R gap-closer is just a kill on a low HP squishy by just pressing R twice ( Hey remember the global near-sight,yeah that's so fun to face).Latly,Karthus,the only champions who's whole ulty either hits your squihies like a truck or get's countered too easily.

Karthus and Shen have the channels to them which make them fair to me, TFate and Nocturne aren't global although I will say that Nocturne's is a bit unfair when he's ahead, and Soraka's is sorta dumb but there's not much else you can do to balance it.

Shen(tho the tp is a channel) the shield can change to outcome of a fight. Karthus is the only one who has too much counterplay to his R(justified ,but too much). Noc and TF both reveal/apply near sight globally,it may not seem like,but utility is often underestimated. I'm main,Soraka but her R with GW is a special case.

Again,it's not that their ultimates are either OP or useless,but that they take over a champions power budget and are on a really high CD. It could be easily switched for something which requires more skill to be used efficiently,but still does the core of the ability.

Soraka only does 1 thing, heal. Using her heal at the right time can save a game while if you use it at a bad time then when the team needs it later you don't have it then it is GG. I am a support main. Shen's ult is the same, use it on the right person it can save/make the game, use it wrong and GG. Shen and Soraka have ults that are literally meant to save people in a pinch and honestly their kits NEED them.

Karthas? ..... fuck him

Nocs ult is a playmaking one, but if you fuck it up you're dead, do it right you live and hopefully get a kill. TF's ult has been supremely nerfed to hell and back. But again very similar to nocs.

There's others way to make a healing ultimate without making it a global button save . Fck up you're dead literally applies to nearly every champion or ultimate in the game.

I feel like having this option makes you have to be more aware as a player. These ults don't have much of a down side, admittedly (except for maybe when you ult in with Nocturne or TF and you ulted into a 3v1. XD ), but it does take a good bit of awareness to use them effectively. When you have ults like Veigar or Garen's ult, I feel like the ones you stated are less of an issue than these ones. XD But everyone has their own opinion.

It's not that they're bad or even OP,but having global presence with just pressing a button,where is the counterplay to that? You're aware that it can happen,but that's about it. At least with Garen and Veigar ˝stay out of ranges˝ applies to some agree,but what can you do against global nearsight?

Back off. Nearsight doesn't last long. There are plently of counterplay options to most of these actually. Say you're holding onto a heal, for a particularly juicy engage. They decide "Hey, I'm gonna jump on X champ because of my Karthus damage from his ult." Fight and heal, if your certain that you can win that is. With Karthus ult, I usually use a shield. Blocks almost all the damage. Pretty simple. Low health, Zhonyas if you have it or even stopwatch. I will say global nearsight is a bit harder to work with, especially if you are a ranged champ, but ultimately you just don't make any progression towards their base for about 2 seconds and the nearsighted is over. Play safe for that short period of time. TF ult shows everyone's position and allows TF to teleport to a location within his range. Top TP to counter. I'm not an amazing player, but there are plenty of counterplays to these global ults. But there is a reason that most of these global ult champs don't see a lot of pro play. They are easily adjusted for.

You cant srsly argue that a 4seconds global nearsight with just pressing a button,is healthy? Just play safe for 10mins until Noc doesn't have his R anymore is not counterplay. Again,reveling the enemy position with just pressing a button,how healthy is that?
