I que up each time for Mid and Top. Where i usually go Kat, Sol mid and Kled, Yorick top. (some others i use but these four are the most used for me) I also que for jg instead of Top sometimes and go Elise mostly.

I get mid 7/10 times, top 2/10 times, and support 1/10.

And when I do, I dont get pissy, infact I get a little excited, I get to shake things up with Bard. Find a champ you like in each role and treat it as a comedy match, but dont feed. Everytime that 1/10 comes around and i play bard, its hilarious and fun.

Everyone I think should know how to play each role. Plain and simple, want to be the best? suck it up and learn the WHOLE game then. LCS players know how to play every role, so why should it be any different for solo que?

Rant is over.

EDIT: The reduced wait time for a que is WORTH playing that one hilarious match with bard. Cause mostly I autofilled as support.

  1. Reduced wait time for a single queue is pointless when the system incentivizes dodging, which leads to multiple queues, longer time spent in lobbies, increased time actually finding a game, and then more raging and lower quality games once you actually make it to the loading screen.

  2. Not everyone cares about learning each role or about being a LCS palyer. They want to play what they enjoy playing. Period. It is ridiculous that you cannot do that anymore.

  1. The system doesn't "incentivize" dodging. You don't get rewards for dodging, you lose LP if it's Ranked and you get into (or closer to) the low priority queue.
  2. Look at any game or sport ever made that has different positions/roles. If you want to play only one role, you get on a team where you can play that role. Impromptu games, like our Solo/Duo/Trio/Quad queues, never guaranteed you your favorite role, regardless of the game. Part of playing a game you like is putting up with the parts you don't like.

I agree. I mean I'm a supp main but I do understand the need for it.

I would like to see numbers on # of games dodged before and after implementation of autofill. I believe everyone can agree that dodges are negative to the game.

While you might not mind autofill, there are people who do. And they will steal the roles of other people, refusing to support.

LCS players know how to play every role, so why should it be any different for solo que?

I am legitimately not sure if this post is satire.

By extension, any system that encourages such behavior is negative.

To all the people saying "hurr durr, Aurelion what about the dodging?!"

Easy, stop fuking dodging, and if it persists, I 100% support giving harsher punishments for dodge. A "Dodge" isnt part of the game, its almost like a glitch were you get a free remake by closing the client.
