Ranked is so fkn stupid atm because 9/10 times I cannot play the role i'm good at and it's all because you are too lazy to put team builder for ranked. Its the worst feeling in the damn world when you are forced in a role you aren't that great in, and you are against a player who mains said role. This is the cause of so much toxicity and rage, especially in the lower elos and I can honestly see where they are coming from. I'm only gold 2 so i obviously have a lot to learn and all that but rn ranked doesn't let you climb to your fullest potential. Look in the high elo matches. Pro players almost always get the role they want because others know they are good at it. Inb4 "Wtf you should not play ranked while you are not that good at other roles" Well what if i don't enjoy the other roles. Isn't that the point of the game? TO ENJOY YOURSELF?

TL;DR- PUT TEAM BUILDER FOR RANKED AND HAVE IT SO EVERY PLAYER ON THE TEAM GETS TO PICK 1 CHAMPION THEY WANT TO BAN -This would incorporate the ban phase of ranked and not have 1 player to have control over all the bans, also while adding 2 extra bans per team

Be relatively competent at a few champions in every role. Problem solved.

You don't have to be godly at all of them, but you should at least be able to play them decently when required to.

Teambuilder doesn't really work well for ranked since it eliminates any strategy involved in champion selection (team composition, counterpicking, bans).

Well you have to consider every single one of us is experiencing the same thing, certain roles get hot and the others stagnate. If everyone gets what they want the. You'll have a whole team of burst mages and marksmen, yeah some people like to tank or support but not the trolls in lower elos. Regardless of all that the bottom line is this, if you wanna play ranked and win, learn enough and use your knowledge to win, that's the point of competitive play(I.e. Ranked) whoever can play the best under the circumstances will win, so it logically follows that your best bet is to become proficient and knowledgable about as many situations as is possible.

Would you want to have separate ladders for each position? I think averaging the rank for each role would probably lower most people's ranks since you get particular roles more often then not. If you're only ranked for one position and everyone in your league is ranked for that one position I guess that could be kinda cool, but it seems like a huge pain in the ass to have normal ranked leader boards, 5v5s, 3v3s, and suddenly make 5 more ranked boards for each role for team builder, so I get why they don't want to make that a thing I suppose. I mean maybe one day, but the community has enough they want fixed that diverting the resources to make 5 new ranked leader boards seems like a bit of a waste currently.

try practicing all the positions and then going on ranked after you are fairly good at all cause thats what blind ranked is other wise you find a team that lets you have the position you want. people wont give up the spot they feel they are good at on the off chance you may be better than them and take a spot the arnt good at for you to rage at them when they fail
