I'm very disappointed as to why people don't know much, let alone anything about the Support Meta. I've heard it's usually played in higher elos on the Treeline, but anything Platinum and below, it's practically unheard of.

Ever since the Treeline got two new outer turrets on each side, jungling (or at least ganking) has never been harder and as a result, the jungler gets left behind in the dust.

I want more people to know about the Support Meta because I feel it can be more fun than what the Treeline currently has.

Support meta is cancer. That word fits it perfectly.

It's just not interactive, the jungler just does nothing with the supp all game besides farm. Then, they win because they got a shit ton of farm. They have no reason to do anything on the map.

Top lane has no laner, you can't really gank or do anything on either side. The opposing jungle isn't going to 2v1 invade, they're just gonna farm or look at bot. But you can't really gank bot safely because there is no vision on the other 2 enemies. The bot lane turns into just farm and play safe and let the scaling team win.

I wished they removed it because not playing support meta is cancer when you're against it, and support meta vs support meta is a snooze fest. I would play 3s more but this meta is just so terrible.

Almost every time I get into a 3v3 Ranked Flex lobby I ask if we're going support comp or jungler comp. (I don't ask it all the time, because sometimes before I'm even done typing the question someone will be like "don't ban renekton" or "jungle pref" or anything else along those lines, and then I don't even have to ask the question because that means that person is thinking about a jungler comp.) I have been able to get two teams to do a support comp. In Blind Pick there isn't even time to suggest a support comp because the lobby is so short so I just assume jungler comp. Jungler comp is so much more intuitive, but there's a reason why support comp is so popular in the top Leagues, and I wish more people knew how to play carry and support so that I wouldn't have to play jungler comp every time. Jungler comp has its weaknesses and it's so hard to come back against a support comp when it gets ahead. (This isn't just a thing with jungler comps though - if a support comp loses early to another support comp, the losing support comp is probably done for. Support comps are just insanely hard to punish when ahead.)

I disagree with your last statement, though. I don't think support comps are fun at all. With support, one side gets a lead and then the game is over. If everyone played jungler comps then there would be interesting (in my opinion) back-n-forth games where people hit their power spikes at different times, but the fact that the support comp is a slightly superior comp stops this from happening. Since support comp is so feast or famine, it leads to boring games that have a decided winner very early on.

I'm only silver 1, but it works ZERO times out of all the times I've had people try it. One person always gets left WAY behind in cs and 2 in levels. A jungler that can 1 v 3 late or can gank over walls is the way to go.
