@meddler , items that avoid champ weaknesses must be removed for balance sake

I'm talking about item 3116 item 3152 item 3022 . For example, Rumble should rely on the E slow to reach enemies and keep them in the Q aoe as much as he can. But, thanks to protobelt, he can bypass the issue of reaching his enemies, and rylay slow on Q will add even more unnecessary and low-counterplay stickness. Elise has a similar problem: her kit offers a stun to set up the combo and a strong mobility tool to engage/disengage. This should be enough, right? But with rylay and protobelt she gets more mobility and a slow on every ability. We can relate this to azir and mini gnar: they should hit their Q in order to chase or kite reliably, but thanks to rylay/mallet they don't need to hit the skillshot, and their kit must be balanced around this; so they end up with >45% win rate. Last but not least, we have Mordekaiser. He is the most rilay-addicted champion, and thanks to his Malicious Mains on the boards, everyone is aware of this. Unless we don't want to leave him at 20% win rate until his VGU, we can't remove rylay for this time. OR we add some soft cc to his abilities and give him decent stats, as a short term adjustment while we wait for the rework. Anyway, with this thread i just wanted to say that for the long term, riot needs to remove or drastically change this items, because they warp the balance of several champions (all the champions i listed above except morde have low win rate in diamond and lower elos but are top tier in competitive play. Sorry for bad grammar/syntax, i'm italian.
