Supporting in Bronze Hell needs more LP
I am a ex-top laner turned Support because obv I suck mechanically and couldn't cut it top against that volatile crazy lane.
I generally have a solid win rate with my support pool (maybe about 5-7 champs) and generally consistent with KDA / Vision / all those metrics and what not.
This season I've actually decided recently to actually try and climb, I usually only play about 20 games of ranked a season cause it seems like it takes a lot of games and mental to climb. So here I am maybe 30 games after my placements (50 or so played) and in promo's after getting to 0 LP a few times and I have got to say that Supporting in Bronze / Lower Elo is the most nerve racking thing I've experienced.
I feel like generally I have to carry my little baby ADC in lane for the first 25min, but I also need to roam and make vision plays as well as cover lanes when (for example) my mid just randomly strolls into the JG with no vision and proceeds to try and take a camp and then gets shit on by enemy JG.
I have to play consistently better than the enemy team in lane (or we lose / feed) I have to play consistently better than the weakest points on my team (not to be confused with weakest player) and I have to setup kills, objectives, vision as well as try and save my team mates when they abuse my vision (over chasing!).
I mean I feel like vision at this elo doesn't matter cause only a hand ful of ppl know what to do with it, the others just see ppl on map and run at them over and over and it's like uhhh that's not really what you suppose to do in a even game.
So after all this I'm not sure or not, but do supports get more LP per win then other roles? Cause I gotta say i should be getting like +40 or 50 for some of these wins and that's not me stroking myself off or anything, I'm legit saying I have to do such a substantial amount of work to setup the team for success. Maybe it's cause I play Carry / Aggressive support champs and not Raka or Yuumi, idk if there is more LP in it for supports at low elo or not but I really truly believe that if there is it flat out isn't enough!
and
as one focuses on wave control and the other focuses on poking the enemy to deny them cs and helps newer players (imo) have a better understanding of the game.
