what the hell i still don't know why im playing with plat and high gold when im silver ? why ?
newbin2 votesThere are 2 ranks. The ranks everyone sees and riot has a secret "potential rank" that is why sometimes you get odd mixes of ranks. The plat 5 could have been carried by friends or just good team mates and the plats "potential rank" could be near or at yours. Does this make sense to you? If you won that would have been a huge lp bonus for you and only a minor loss if your team was expected to lose.

Well yes, it would be EASIER but that doesn't show your skill. It isn't supposed to be easy to gain rank.

Or, you were winning enough that they felt that you might be able to beat people at a higher rank, which would show that you deserve to be in a higher rank.
Locke Daemonfire1 votesI'll explain it - here is the actual answer. This game was played at what, like 4 or 5 am for EUW? There weren't very many players online. The system couldn't set up a match with everyone at the same level. So it set up a match where both team's average MMR was about the same. You balance out the Gold 1 on your team.
