PLEASE make /mute mute pings.

Some rather sneaky trolls can continue to troll, even after you ignore them or /mute them, by spamming pings.

Rito please, I implore you to make /mute silence the muted players pings. It's very rare, but INCREDIBLY distracting when your teammate spams 10 pings in a row every time the temporary spam silence is up.

I love when nerds go 'You can turn the ping volume down!' when I ask them to only ping once, as if the fact that they're filling up my chat doesn't also bother me.

For real, I want some way to disable pings when there's a spammer on my side. It's frustrating and just makes me want to ignore anything they say or ping.

I'm bumping this because it's so relevant.

I agree sadly players who are intentionally griefing and abuse the ping function back in the day when I played league before toxicity was as bad as it was today Mute on a player would mute them including pings then Riot decided not to have it mute pings sometimes I have to mute toxic players then turn off sound.

I would if there weren't people that used it properly. Those pings are ones I need to hear.

This is such an old post lol, sorry for rudeness previously. Idk if there was an update sometime between this but muting the player on scoreboard mutes there pings as well.

EDIT: questioning whether i remember correctly, seemed like whenever i muted that person, i didnt get any pings after. gotta test.

It should be a separate button, though.

Most of the time, when you mute someone, it is because they are flaming, and their pings are still teamwork/communication. Other times, you get annoying people who spam pings too, so a separate button to mute those too would be good.

Rito just don't give a shit about this, they love toxic players.
