He does way too much damage to have slow immunity, untargetability, %damage reduction\heal, and true damage. Yea yea, i understand that in a perfect world he would get cc'd and locked down. It's just obnoxious that it's IMPOSSIBLE to build against him. He shreds tanks twice as fast as a full build kogmaw. it makes no since to me why riot allows a champion to have everything he wants. The only thing Yi doesn't have is CC. It's like riot thought "hey, let's give a champion resetable\extendable abilities, immunity to slows, true damage, extra attacks, damage reduction, untargetability, and heal on command, AND CC" and that one guy in the room went "hey, isnt that a little much?" "Ok we'll leave out the cc"

See, normally the counter to Yi in a closed scenario is to just hit him moderately hard. Wait/bait out the Alpha Strike, disrupt his meditate, and then just smack him around. There, a dead Yi.

Of course the problem currently is that Bruiser Yi does not have Melee Carry Yi's micro weaknesses (at least in the realm of crumpling to any bad blow), so the issue is not that you want to nerf Sated Yi which has realistic weaknesses, the issue is that you want to hit the power budget of a Tanky Yi without hitting or even promoting Squishy Yi.

Which is exactly what they're doing. If you check out the PBE Patch on Master Yi, he has higher Bonus AD Ratios for weaker bases. Promotes the hell out of heavy AD Builds while also draining power from his Bonus AD lacking Bruiser builds.
