Integrated Voice Chat?

Has this ever been brought up by Riot? I feel like it would really improve the ranked experience. I'm convinced that half the losses I suffer are due to poor team communication and cohesion. Hell, at least if someone is gonna rage they can do it verbally and keep going for that cs while they throw a strop. Though I'd hope that with better communication the level of toxicity would go way down.

Thoughts?

it has been brought up. but the level of toxicity would increase as they can't really take voice logs as they can chat logs. people would cuss others out, call them names, tell them to kill themself, etc. it's easy to report something that riot can see in black and white. but no way to keep track of who says what with integrated voice chat.

They allow curse and other third party's as a way of voice chat so there's an option of joining as well as leaving if someone is toxic. In my opinion it's a much better system. If you've ever played any game with integrated voice chat it's full of the most toxic people, or foreign languages. I don't know that there is a system for voice chat in any game that is good. Granted you could add a mute button to players, but many people wouldn't want voice chat and muting people every game would get old and then there would be no communication between the team as the others would be using voice not chat.

I'd like to add to what others have said. Riot has mentioned that while they're not planning to add voice chat, if they did it would be for parties. So if you join up with some other people you meet on League, you could have voice chat, since you guys are supposedly friends now. I feel like that's a decent compromise, allowing for voice chat where it might be too personal if you handed out your Skype info.

I'm sorry but it just wont work...it would cause more problems then solve. Until the community can grow up and learn to be respectful, not rage/be toxic, and to be able to accept people form different genders, sexuality, background, and religions then we can have voice chat. For now we just need to fix the community's Toxic behavior.
