Can we all agree that the tribunal is synonymous with a kindergartner teachers class rules

Just saying... "Don't be mean or you get a time out. " is basically the jist I am getting at. The summoners code is kind of lame and childish too, says something about team work... so when people are not doing just that... we aren't allowed to talk crap like any other game or sporting event or anything else in the world? Really? Okay. . . "Give constructive feedback" ... trust me. Most people do just that... at first. Then the same mistakes become repeated... that's when people get mad and become "toxic". It is ridiculous and inhuman to expect someone not to. I would go into all of them but its all such crap there is no point. Its mostly the communities doing because all of the actually good points in the summoners code are things that done by very few until high levels of play. . . there is no communication, there is no team work, no one listens to anyone's input, even if they continue to die to the same mistake and are given advice what they are doing wrong. . . . People never listen, they get defensive when they are wrong, and don't even consider that they could be.
But what I am saying is the tribunal needs fixing. Punishing people for bashing on each other in a highly competitive game is completely ridiculous. I understand if someone runs around saying racial slurs, or curses in all caps spamming the whole game... okay, cool. But if someone just says a comment here or there. . . What it should target is players with extraordinarily low win rates or accounts that show unreasonably low kda to the point that its clear they feed nearly or every game, and other similar players and opt them out of ranked until they improve it in draft pick non-ranked. (Yes, I understand that KDA isn't important, but when it is so low that it is evident that they consistently contribute nothing, that is what I am talking about)

This community needs help. Great game. Worst community I have ever played in.

idk man, my kindergarten teacher was one tough cookie. She wouldent even let us eat the glue! I mean, the nerve of her! Can you imagine, kindergarten without eating glue?

If its kindergarten rules you should be able to understand and follow it. You're playing a game its not your job and nothing is at steak. If you don't enjoy it don't play.

Is it so hard to not press enter? You can yell and complain all you want but you never have to press enter and type it and enter again. Lots of people never have any issue with any of riots behavior systems.

Low kda doesn't mean they aren't contributing. Ever see proxy singed? Or what if someone is just splitting How about tanks that die for their team but don't get credit?

Whatever the new equivalent is. Don't be a smart**s.

Your simple reply shows your hotheadness and why you would get banned. He stated a fact and you call him a smart arse. Lol not helping your case

There isn't an applicable equivalent. Don't be a dumbarse (oops too late lol.)

Thanks for proving you deserve whatever you get.

I don't yell. Just a few minutes ago a Zed who was in Plat missed an opportunity to take two kills that I handed to him on a silver platter as a Thresh in non-ranked. So I explained what he missed, and what he should do next time... didn't curse... didn't yell. That's it. That's all I said the whole game besides calling objectives and pinging, and after the game it said "You're behavior is not in the guide-lines" or whatever. Its ridiculous. No other game does this. In MMO's you don't get your account banned for kicking someone out of a guild because they suck, even if you are mean about it. In shooters if you talk crap you don't get a reprimand. I mean FFS. Like you said, its not anyones job, its a game. And limiting peoples behavior so much is ridiculous in a competitive game such as this where one person messing up can have major effects on his or her team mates.

have you considered that society has rules for a reason?

people get speeding tickets all the time. would you have them remove speed limits since it's a common offense and a lot of people would rather break the limit?

What is the "tribunal" you speak of? We have no such thing over here on the OCE server.

Nucleophilic atk1 votes

We have no such thing on our server either lol. They took it away because "it wasn't doing it's job right" and replaced it with nothing. Apparently nothing does the job better? The logic sometimes lol....

so what exactly are you saying here, or asking for? "the community is bad" but "wah we aren't allowed to be assholes"

GG Beers2 votes

Why do you feel that you have to tell people how you think they should get better? You will never play with them again, if they wanted your opinion they would ask.

You are the reason this system was put in place, no one can keep their mouth shut. Just play the game at let everyone else play it too, it's really that simple.

Can't wait til tribunal and mass banning comes back. So many trolls and whiners at the moment. Just had a Varus go 2/19 and continually blame his support for it.

Ever heard the phrase "All I need to know I learned in kindergarten?" Those are darn good rules.

I am in the same boat as you. A while I go, I would try to persist with patience and advice on a failing teammate despite the circumstances; however recently, I just started calling them out on their mistakes in a more harsher tone.

Why? Simply because they are ruining the fun for 4 other people who are genuinely trying their best.

A lot of these lesser skilled players I have met has an average KD ratio of 0.1 in every lane. That is absolutely unacceptable; any reoccurring KD ratio below 0.3 to 0.4 should be a ban-able offense in PvP. It might sound like "elite" talk, but lets be real here. After feeding the enemy 2 or 3 kills, just farm at the tower to catch up or at least not give them more of an edge.

Why should regular players cater to those who are not even trying? If Riot is going to punish people for "negative attitude," well, the lack of effort should be considered to the be in the same category.

I haven't been banned. I have friends who have, but I have not. And I replied with that because the title "tribunal" or whatever the new system is is irrelevant and commenting on that just deters people away from the subject at hand.

So if you have something helpful to add to the subject of the actual post, say something. Otherwise get out.

Again, no other sport or video game or anything that I know of bans you for calling someone out on mistakes they make. Its ridiculous. And again, I don't do this aggressively. If I see someone making a mistake repeatedly, I explain why they keep dying... then they just get mad and then I am the one that gets reported for bad attitude? Please. If you agree with that then you are just as bad.

NoDomeAtHome1 votes

I am saying. Don't ban people because of user reports. "Reported" is called out literally every single game. Even if there is no reasonable reason. The team that loses nearly always calls "reported" because no one wants to look at themselves. That's the problem. No other game has this going on, at least not nearly to this level. This is the things that kill communities. I'd rather deal with a 13 kid whining on CoD than the things the ridiculously childish behavior that I see in this game on a regular basis. However, that game is horrible, this game is good. Its the community, and they way they go about bans / reports / whatever else is completely ridiculous and unreasonable.
