Only issue with cleaver is its superior synergy with darius over every other BC user. One AA and there goes your armour.

yep. his AA only apply one onhit effect. BUT BC isnt a onhit effect its any application of physical damage. so 4 physical damage hits 4 procs of BC

its every instance of physical damage that is dealt. thats why AOE physical damage dealers like illaoi garen darius riven and so on scale with it so well. rapid procs of physical damage that the enemy has basically no way of preventing

Its perfectly fine to have items that penetrate armor, BUT THE ENTIRE POINT OF A TANK IS THAT THEY DONT TAKE DAMAGE. When your playing against a tank you should be killing the squishes and THEN focusing down the tank.

It's not just that, it's the problem where critical strike is based on burst level DPS. If you have an item cut tank's armor then they're start taking that burst level DPS as actual burst.

Obviously marksmen should be the primary tank killers, but the problem is how marksmen are working is just really unhealthy for both marksmen and tanks.

Well BoRK could be changed to 7%.

Lord Dom's and Mortal Reminder both need to be 40% armor pen and Lord Dom's damage muliplier should be 12% (and Giant slayer 7%).

Then again, I still want crit reworked.

Crit honestly does need changes. I hate how it's a great tank killing stat but is also great at killing everyone else.

Like the armor shred build.

Have I mentioned how I hate how ADCs are apparently great at killing everyone, yet complain how everyone can kill them?

i think they should make last whisper more like black cleaver

where you gain increasingly more armorpen with each attack makes it all less bursty

they should also give them both the same unique passive so you can't stack them

and make flat pen apply before % pen in general both for mpen and arpen

Flat pen use to apply before % pen. It was a pain, hence why they switched the order.

If they do this they need to fix the way BC stacks. Ashe (with Focus) and Graves can insta-stack it, which would make LW more useful on Ashe than other ADC's. If they gave it a 0.5 second CD before you can get another stack it would be fair. Let LW get a bit more armor pen to compensate though.

It's cheap armor pen, for 1300 g compared to Cleavers 3000.

Most of the times when facing a tank I grab LW as my third item and then go on to build normal stuff (stacked on top of my Cleaver, as Riven).

Season 2 wasn't like this. It took 4 or 5 items on marksmen before they really out scaled tank stats. now it seems like damage items out do defensive items on their own.

kog, twitch, draven, mf ult,...Im with you that calling it an anti-tankmeta is going to far but the vast mayority of tanks are on the weakside. I know that they are still getting picked in proplay but that has a meta of its own. Just as reksai was a toptear pick in proplay while being trash in soloq so is mao now an ok pick in proplay while being super weak in soloq. Well its midseason soon and lets see what that brings. Hope they finally fix tankitems so that they cant be abused by skyrmishers and assassins anymore as i think that that is the root of all these problems.

Only naut is decent to strong. Poppy is weak to decent. Mao is really weak atm. Only other tanks that are decent atm are sion, malphite and maybe zac, braum or taric.

Only they werent. Reksai was even so weak that riot stated that she needed buffs but that they couldnt because she was still picked in lcs. Srry to break it to you but soloq and proplay are almost a different game. There are even big differences between soloq and organised play and organised play and proplay.Poppy, maokai,shen, last years reksai, prewords vlad,.. all champs that have unique strengts that can really be exploited at the highest lvl of professional play so that for them to be ballanced there they have to be really weak in soloq. It works the otherway around to. Tanksuo and voli were really strong at one point last season but still got no play in the lcs because with great coördination they are easier to shut down.

Aight so him having a high winrate and a decent banrate and getting nerfed a few patches later was just coincidence. K shaco has only been picked 4 times in na and eu lcs combined this season and lost all those 4 games. While in soloq he has been a strong jungler for most of the season.

I honestly was so puzzled as to why the equal level lucian was melting a randuins/sunfire/tabi/almost thornmail sion with a BOTRK and some crit. Hell he doesn't even need armour pen.

1 lucian should not be able to do that as he is so good early and strong vs squisies in a 1v1

2 no adc except for vayne and kog should be able to do that. If on equal gold and lvls a tank that has build pure anti-autoattack should not be able to get melted by autoattackers. Else there would be no reason for magicdamage. Sadly with all the arpmor pen around running a full ad comp isnt that big of a mistake anymore.
