Grasp of Undying: Every 4 seconds in combat, your next basic attack deals bonus damage equal to 3% your maximum health, and heals you for an equal amount. Hit a minion, wait 4 seconds, then use this combined with your passive for some really good trading.

You can build a early game and exchange it for a for free later.

got nerfed, so fewer people will be running it. This means that Shen's global prescence is more unique.

Combine all this with the fact that Shen, being a Tank, can buy , which makes Yasuo less of a threat.

I tried shen in OFA and I enjoyed him I was the most fed and first timing him.. I also do really good as Kennen. so I think ill get shen for a tanky support. but for top lane ill stick to kennen or Gnar. I just need to get up the IP to buy him.

I'm sorry, but -10% crit damage isn't enough to make any crit based champ less of a threat. :l

I will admit, taunt based champs are quite scary now, though.

It does. I don't agree with the OP's choice of Grasp of the Undying, but building up those reductions is very effective as a tank. With Shen, I run item 3047 item 3143 as well as Bond of Stone. That's 10% off autos, 10% more off crits, 15% off attackspeed, and 4-8% dropped off everything. Heck, even item 1054 provides a bonus damage reduction. It all adds up, and its a lot tankier than just grabbing a item 3742 .
