Brilliant idea to encourage buying wards

Remove revive. When you die, your summoner spells are both replaced with revive for the duration of your death. pressing either one will trigger it. But revive now has a new ability:

Revive: Spend 50% of your current gold to reduce your current death timer by 50%.

This encourages you to get back into the fight, but you will want to spend as much gold in the shop itself as you can, and attempt to fill it up with wards, hopefully.

But then late game no longer exists, because you can make up for a crappy teamfight with that new revive and cancel effectively the enemy ace. The only incentive you need to buy wards is wanting to get better. If you don't buy them, you are not trying your best to improve. Simple :)

That you thought this was brilliant is pretty astonishing tbh. Not to demotivate you to ventilate your thoughts though, out of bad idea's can come good idea's if someone else reads it.

So a highly reduced version of the buyback system in DotA? No thanks.

what's buyback

DotA has a mechanic where you can spend gold to get back in the game. The amount of gold required scales with the game's time, rather than the amount you have.

Buyback is a system of revive in DotA where you can pay gold to {{summoner:10}} . However it comes with a few setbacks, 1st you can't gain any gold from farming creeps/gold over time.(It's about 1 minute?) It is strictly to rejoin fights(you can still gain $ though killing heroes since there is 2 separate gold systems.) 2nd - It has a cooldown and you manage to die again durring it your death timer is drastically increased (You can actually break +2 minutes of death). The gold cost is no joke either, it's quite costly in the late game.

@On Topic- It's a pretty bad idea. Most people generally just fill with what they need to buy and you can always just use potions to fill up the slots. *Also they would have to maybe get rid of the undo button. Buy Stuff-> Reduce Timer-> Undo for gold return

No way! I don't see how this could ever go well!
