Simple Katarina Buffs

Worlds is just around the corner! And who makes #lcsbigplays better than this flashy motherf*cker??

So my proposal is just one number change, and a QOL improvement.

Increased the duration of Voracity to 4 from 3
And now, when Katarina throws her Bouncing Blade, and then E's or W's before the projectile hits, the mark will be applied on contact. (I.E if you throw the Q and then hit E or W before it actually hits them, both instances of damage are applied. Projectile and Mark.)

This will give her some laning power without directly increasing her numbers.

Yeah I dig the voracity buff but the mark applied thing kind of feels wrong to me.

This wouldn't affect her laning phase at all. She would literally be doing the same thing she normally does. Same damage, slightly different application window.

you literally do the same exact thing with or without it, even if E doesn't proc the extra damage immeadiately, W would proc it in the same amount of time. It does nothing

Kat is never gonna be in worlds. I have 0 clue why you added that to your op.

Kat is fine, she just needs the meta to shift to be good again (though she is viable now, just weak).

They could Revert her Season 5 nerfs to Voracity, Shunpo, Death Lotus, Health and Regeneration and she still would be around the same win rate she is now.

The meta does not favor her atm, juggernauts are problematic for kat as are tanks and supports. The current mid lane meta does well vs kat as well. Most of the viable adcs have there own personal ways of dealing with kat (vayne, trist) if you can ever catch them without there pesky supports.

Edit: For those who think Kat is good or could not use some help.

Katarina and Teemo have around the same pick rate (4%) and win rate (47% - 49%, depending on when and where you look) atm. Those two have been around the same pick / win rates for a while, although Kat is trending down in both categories and teemo is holding / trending up slightly.

Outside of laning phase, who anywhere is scared of Teemo ?

I think kat is balanced rn or, at least as balanced as her kit can be. Her lane is fine, abusable as it should be, most assassins that aren't zed have pretty poor lane phases due to how much of an advantage they have in roaming.

She's not meta because all of the other meta mids almost directly counter her. The big 3 are probably Ori/Azir/Vik and they all have some way to disrupt her ult. I think Kat is ok, buffing her would make her a little too strong when the meta shifts into her favor.
