Seriously, though, putting RNG in a game that you want to be competitive is doing the exact opposite of what you want to do.

Every season I pray that I see a post of "Critical Strike removed!", but I am just let down with more RNG added into the game.

This game is now gonna have more RNG than some noncompetitive games I play currently.
