FEK Tournament: Nemesis Draft Style - Sign Ups

##Tournament Explanation

  • Nemesis Draft is where the enemy team picks your champions for you out of your 25 Champions selected.
  • Team Captain on the enemy team will pick your Champions for your team BEFORE going into Champion Select.
  • Champion Select will take place in Tournament Draft where random Champions not previously picked will be banned (for the purpose of using the Pause functionality).
  • We’ll be doing Bo3 Elimination where the finals will be a best of 5.
  • Once you use the Champion once; that Champion will not be able to be picked for you again.

  • Day 1 - April 1st, Friday | 6PM PST / 9PM EST
    • Quarters Group A: 2 Bo3s
  • Day 2 - April 2nd, Saturday | 6PM PST / 9PM EST
    • Quarters Group B: 2 Bo3s
  • Day 3 - April 8th, Friday | 6PM PST / 9PM EST
    • Semis Group A & B: 2 Bo3s
  • Day 4 - April 9th, Saturday | 6PM PST / 9PM EST
    • Finals: Bo5

-- ##Draft Sign-Up

  • You may sign-up as a Team Captain or a Draftee.
  • YOUR POSTING ACTIVITY CAN GET YOUR SIGN-UP DECLINED, AS SAID IN THE RULES.
  • Team Captains will be selected from the top 8 Solo Queue rankings that signed up.
  • Draftees will be put in the draft for the Team Captains to pick from.
  • When signing up you need to post the 25 Champions you want to be used in the tournament.
  • Banned Champions from the Tournament: Mordekaiser (People have reported FPS Drops when he is in the game)
  • Post in this thread to sign up for the Draft.
  • Draft Sign-Ups end Saturday, March 26th, at 12AM PST / 3AM EST.

-- ##Team Captains (Read if you’re signing up as a Team Captain)

  • Responsible for keeping track of your team.
  • Needs to keep in contact with the Event Host on the LoL Client
  • Must have a FEK Avatar by sign up time.
  • Must be able to come to the Draft on March Sunday 27th at 4 PM PST / 7PM EST.
  • Team Captains will earn Fish Chips for being a captain. (Higher your place is in the tourney, more fish chips)

-- ##Draftees

  • Anyone can sign-up to be a draftee.
  • Participants without FEK will be required on teams, based on sign-ups. More info to captains on Draft day!
  • Diamonds per team will be limited based on how many are in the draft.
  • Must post their 25 Champions.
  • Draftees who did not get drafted will go in the sub draft.

  • Based on participation the prizes will increase.
  • Minimally 10$ of RP for First and 5$ of RP for Second, Temp FEK Badges, and some Fish Chips.

Doing a slightly worse version of it. Though, I guess this version helps people get champions they are more comfortable on.

I have a question about the draft. Do we have to be anywhere for the draft? You mentioned that captains have to attend the draft, but does that apply to draftees as well? How will we know our teams before the event? How will we get in communication with our team before the event?

Not very, we're only aiming to limit diamonds on teams so one team isn't like only diamond. To avoid people from complaining for the most part.

What about players newer to the boards? Wouldn't including them influence them, and whoever they're friends are to be more active, and to be more outgoing on tournaments and boards alike?

We want to prioritize the people who are already active on Boards. The newer people will have to wait for the next tournament, but there is a chance they can participate.

Question: Is a microphone required to participate? And are there ranked requirements other than "Diamonds per team will be limited based on how many are in the draft."?

Microphones are not required, and there aren't really any other requirements for ranked.
