A call out to any and all fellow support mains out there. Have any of you noticed the almost impossible demands Riot is burdening your with in your queue? For me its constantly crappy adc after crappy adc. Ever since the new game mode came out for ranked people have forgotten what its like to play the other role their partner is playing in lane and just expect the dam impossible. Peoples timings are getting worse and worse as no one remembers how each support champs works and what their relative cooldowns are. This fact is compounded upon by the new super tank meta where any squishy supports like janna, nami, and maybe even sona are off the table as viable supports simply because enemy tanks eat you and your adc for breakfast if you don't go tanky to provide something of a wall for your adc to hide behind. Your thoughts? I really am losing my mojo for league as it feels like support is role subjected to die and mostly impart by the new queue.

i mained support for a long time but i don't play it anymore because new champ select expects me to play it every single game. i don't mind queuing for fill or my 2 mains supp/jungle but i don't want to support 9/10 games.

that combined with shit vision changes and sighstone nerfs i really hate playing it now. i just don't queue for it anymore because i know i'm gonna get it every game.

Soraka still brings it though. She can keep any bad AD carry alive and well.

The new duskblade makes it her irrelevant though. I would just kill her then the adc.

I dunno, its about 75% (bad adcs) - 25% (good adcs) for me. The only soloq picks I spam are Blitzcrank, Morgana and Alistar. And I pick Morg only if I want to counterpick something like enemy Blitzcrank or Alistar.

If you expect your adc to be brain-dead )it more than ofter shows during champ select when they pick some shitty tier 2 champ like Tristana Sivir Ashe (currently, some good players still play Jhin , but soon he should be trash tier too), just pick a braindead saving support to carry them through lane and then bet all on late game teamfights. Blitzcrank zones super good, Alistar flash pulv threat + sustain should at least zone away enemy ad, and Morg helps against those two picks if you're good at her.
