League of Legends: Solo Queue Best Champion Tier List Update 6.21

Sion has been gaining popularity in the LCK for quite some time, and is now one of the highest win rate supports despite his low pick/ban.

I've already officially jumped on the bandwagon because I think he is extremely underrated and will start to pick up traction and speed in the NA region as well.

His armor penetration, base damage, and CC give him great synergy in the bot with his ADC. His ultimate also gives him good play making and re-engage potential while under your own tower.

I'm worried that any nerfs to Sion support will negatively impact his top and jungle performance.

Ahhh, I see.

I wouldn't be worried about that at this time. Typically when a champion starts excelling at a role that it wasn't necessarily intended for, Riot will tweak the champion rather than directly buff or nerf it.

On another note, Sion support also isn't broken at this point either, but it is gaining popularity and power. I think he is in a strong but healthy spot in all roles.

Sion support is amazing. Just started using him there instead of top lane. With the right adc on your side it can get very gross. Plus if your lane gets ganked hard.....you can always sacrifice yourself and turn the entire situation around as undead ass kicker Sion.

I expect that the more he is played, the lower his play rate will get. As a Sion one trick, I can say his win rate is inflated because its mostly mains and one tricks playing him.
