Why is Lissandra so bad?

tried her many times top/mid/supp, nothing worked, is she mainly ap? or hybrid? problems: high mana cost, relies on team fights not dueling

lissandra is fine i feel. Shes also ap so only buy ap on her. a morrello is more then enough mana regeneration for her if you use your passive correctly and the sort. shes also usually able to poke someone down by Qing in lane then E QWRQ the enemy for a kill. Just have 2 learn her. Shes a good mid/top laner

I usually play her full AP mid, and it works pretty well for me. She can harass extremely mana efficiently with her passive and a Morellos or Athenes usually fixes your mana problems. You just mustnt spam it early. Also, contrary to popular belief, she can burst very well, with a total of 960 + 240% AP damage or 1210 + 300% AP if you can hit your E, since your Q's CD is so low you can use it twice. This is also why she can deal a relatively high amount of DPS. You also have to see that she has a shitload of CC in her kit and kites like a real ice bitch.

a free spell every 18 seconds dosnt help your mana efficiency unless your mana costs are stupid high. Her CC is not plentiful or good, her w has a one and a half second snare witch dosnt even phase most melee champs with a dash, and her ult has a delay on cast so unless you give up the cc to use it on yourself real mages will probably kill you while you use it. Her kiting is only good after getting crystal scepter because the slow on her q is laughably bad and only applies to the first thing she hits. Lissanda's main draw is her ult being great in teamfights and her q doing pretty high damage on a super low cooldown.

She's entirely AP... Why would you ever build AD on Lissandra? Top, Mid, and Support can all work for her, though I mostly play her mid. She does very well against some of the more popular mid choices at the moment like Yasuo, Zed, and Fizz.
