Why rengar's q can hit me as yi during alpha strike when even lux' ult can't ?

Went against rengars as yi and they did hurt me with their q during my alpha strike. Fix this shit pls , the problem is with rengar's q and not alpha strike because nothing else hit me during it but rengar's q does.
