Are we still allowed to complain about ADCs?

Cause boy oh boy, was last game a fuckin doozy. They had a Jhin ADC, which wasn't terrible all in itself, but they literally just played "babysit the carry".

A rundown of their roster: -Jhin -Full AP Orianna -AP Lux with sightstone -Ivern with Knight's Vow, Redemption, and Locket of the Iron Solari -Standard tank Nautilus

What am I actually supposed to do against that as an assassin? The only way I could prevent them from loading all of their actives and shields on him was by stunning at least four of the five people on their team. I'd consider building Morellonomicon, but the issue wasn't even the heals. It was the ~2k health worth of shields being dumped on him and that 12 percent damage reduction to really rub the salt in that wound. The game felt so god awful. I am seriously struggling to find a champion of comp that can counter that sort of thing, maybe a Blitzcrank.

Obviously, if you're playing skillfully, you should be able to protect your carry and keep them alive. However, I seriously disagree with any sort of notion that mindlessly using item actives on your carry is "skillful play".
