People should learn the difference between 'New Meta' and straight up trolling

Loads of the Pros intentionally take sub optimal picks/comps for early LCS matches because they want to display cool new ideas, show off and because they know they will win if the enemy team has a sufficiently lower skill level and that's fine.

Don't do it in ranked.

It's not the new meta, because they know it is less good than standard in-meta pics, they are doing it because they know they will win. You are a Bronze/Silver scrublord fighting against other players of a similar skill level, if you do that, you are being selfish and intentionally undermining your team.

An example of New Meta is Graves top or Brand support, these champs are actually good at those roles right now, either because of their stats or their synergy with the new masteries - please do pick these if you are on my team. Do not, under any circumstances pick a bruiser as 'support', not take a support item and then claim it's ok because it worked in LCS, it's not the new meta, it's not a hyper-aggressive kill lane, you're a dick.

Isnt whole point of playing game trying new things, experimenting? How dull would a game be if everyone played same?

I am a dedicated top lane main, who plays odd champions in the top lane very often. I have played full AP sona top, and other off META champs in top lane, and easily got first blood. First blood as morgana vs aatrox, i was at 90% health. Its not hard if you play it in the TOP LANE! I can understand if you do that, but your right about some things. I won't lie, I like trying new things as supports, but they usually don't work. (Never forghetti, riven support spaghetti)

So much truth. However, I do stand behind Sion supp in bronze, because no one in bronze solo q can dodge a Sion q. Not to mention no one wards, so when someone face checks you, they get a face full of Decimating Smash.

Then again, probably not in ranked. Solo q? sure. Unranked with friends? Definitely. Bronze 4 promos? Might want to give it a skip.

So if that's how you feel, guess that means i should leave my Renekton support out. Or my Maokai, Mordekaiser, and Gragas supports too.
