Massive AD item changes idea

Since AP items got massive changes. I think AD should get some too. Here's some ideas for items.

item 1036 Long Sword Recipe: 370Gold Stats: -- Unchanged

item 1037 Pick Axe Recipe: 700Gold Stats: -- 20 Attack Damage

item 1038 B.F. Sword Recipe: 1300Gold Stats: -- 40 Attack Damage

item 1053 Vampiric Scepter Recipe: Long Sword + 430Gold = 800Gold Total Cost Stats: -- Unchanged

item 3144 Bilgewater Cutlass Recipe: Long Sword + Vampiric Scepter + 230Gold = 1400Gold Total Cost Stats: -- Unchanged Active: Unchanged

item 3508 Essence Reaver Recipe: The Brutalizer + Vampiric Scepter + 763Gold = 2800Gold Total Cost Stats: -- 60 Attack Damage -- 15 Armor Penetration -- 10% Life Steal -- 10% Cooldown Reduction Passive: Unchanged

item 3072 The Bloodthirster Recipe: B.F. Sword + Vampiric Scepter + Vampiric Scepter + 600Gold = 3500Gold Total Cost Stats: -- Unchanged Passive: Unchanged Context: Paying over 1000Gold sucks more than 3 item component items.

item 3035 Last Whisper Recipe: Pick Axe + Pick Axe + 900Gold = 2300Gold Total Cost Stats: -- Unchanged Passive: Unchanged

item 3022 Frozen Mallet Recipe: The Brutalizer + Giant's Belt + 563Gold = 2900Gold Total Cost Stats: -- 25 Attack Damage -- 10 Armor Penetration -- 10% Cooldown Reduction -- 500 Health Passive: Unchanged

item 3172 Zephyr Recipe: The Brutalizer + Recurve Bow + 563Gold = 3000Gold Total Cost Stats: -- 25 Attack Damage -- 15 Armor Penetration -- 40% Attack Speed -- 10% Movespeed -- 10% Cooldown Reduction Passive: Unchanged

item 3141 Sword of the Occult Recipe: Long Sword + Long Sword + 660Gold = 1400Gold Total Cost Stats: -- Unchanged Passive: Unchanged

item 3139 Mercurial Scimitar Recipe: Quick Silverslash + Pick Axe + 350Gold = 2400Gold Total Cost Stats: -- 40 Attack Damage -- 40 Magic Resist Active: Unchanged

item 3155 item 3044 item 3134 Hexdrinker, Phage, and The Brutalizer Total Cost adjusted to fit with Long Sword's new cost.

item 3156 item 3124 item 3004 Maw, Rageblade, and Manamune Total Cost adjusted to fit with Pick Axe's new cost.

item 3077 Tiamat Total Cost adjusted to fit with Pick Axe and Long Sword's new cost.

item 3031 Infinity Edge Total Cost adjusted to fit with BF Sword and Pick Axe's new cost.

You just made lots of AD items cheaper without reducing their power. You also got rid of the large 1550 item powerspike, which massively affects the timings of power in bot lane.

You also made Longsword even cheaper, allowing AD midlaners even more sustain in terms of potions than their AP opponents (Amp Tome costs 435), making AD casters even more oppressive in the early game.

Only like 4 of the items in the list are actually cheaper without being touched. I feel like saving up for BF Sword was the worst feeling ever. I think taking that feeling away is a good thing to do.

Quick notes; you forgot to add some stats (CDR to frozen mallet, AS to Zephyr). Also, the entire point of having to save for BF sword is that all the items it builds into are EXTREMELY strong and have the max AD a non stacking item can have; forcing someone to save up 1550 gold is the cost, because otherwise any AD champion could just buy 5 long swords and still have a perfectly fine build path.

Right, forgot to put those numbers in. Woops.

Doran's Blade, Longsword, Pickaxe, BF Sword, Vamp Sceptre, Bloodthirster all got cheaper without changing their stats, some of them also got much easier build paths (which should make them less effective, not more.)

I think the Current AD items are fine with the way they are. Especially since ad champs are usually the ones who carry. Making the items cheaper won't help at all.

Only changes we really need are

  1. Make Essence Reaver useful
  2. Make quicksilver sash build into more things

I want my 80 AD Merc Scimitar. That item is blessing for ADC against certain teams, if it would only give 40 AD I don't think it would be too often worth a slot, even with active it has.
