Can we make it so, your pre-selected champ cannot get banned by another teammate?

I really wish i took a picture of the chat but

Im playing DQ in a NORMAL mind you, not even the toxic monstrosity that is ranked. I picked Mid and Support, i get Mid so i chose and I'm 2nd pick. Now player 1 whose name wont be said for the sake of this thread not being taken down gets support. Then this happens

"Player 1- Hey Old can i go mid please?" "Me- Sorry buddy i actually wanna play akali badly :)" "Player 1- Well ill ban akali if you don't let me play Mid" "Me- Wut..." "Player 1- Its either that or ill play fizz support" "Me- Alright jeez.."

He then goes on to tell me how his is "God Like" so i decided alright, ill just double down and play support. It's just frustrating getting a new and actually very improved visual update / picking order for the the Queue, but still having the SAME issues that the other Draft pick had..

So? If they're going to troll, they can use any champion to do it. These bans aren't hurting people that want to troll. They're hurting good intentioned people who get fucked with just for a laugh or because "Oh that champ isn't good".

Ok, but we've been over this before. This thread concept isn't new. "Let me play X role or I'll hover over [insert pick or ban champion] so you can't ban them." Considering how the vast majority of the community is in Silver and Bronze, hovering over Udyr XinZhao Malphite Soraka Can really screw your team. Oh, and you can hover over different champs in ban phase btw. Wouldn't it be fun trying to ban while they hover switch over the popular bans?

I understand what your saying, i almost always ban healraka or lazer blasting rage blade spewing Kogmaw, however im not gonna ban it if the first pick wants it..

I think you're missing the point. If someone gets stuck supp but wanted mid like that Fizz. So as support, they hover over Udyr in a bronze 3 game. In bronze 3, Udyr is basically on perma ban. No real support would play Udyr. However, since he is hovered over Udyr, you cannot ban him. Pick phase comes through, enemy jungler gets Uydr. The enemy now has a really strong pick based on that Elo while your "support" just tilted the whole team and made things a lot harder for your team.

It's picking one evil or another. Don't hover over a champion unless they have a high % ban rate.

OP, just don't use pick intent. It's meant for large pre-mades, not for solo players. You're just going to get screwed when you use it.
