People do that right after the game starts anyways?
Whenever I load slow (most games on my Internet) I get into game and say "Darnit I burned my toast"
3-New Lissandra skin

A good one at that
what's the purpose of chatting in loading screen? Discussing strategies? Lol nope people will be too busy thrash talking
"gg our jax is playing on a fucking toaster"
team chat in loading screen would be awesome. especially in ranked
Damn strait.
@Riot Ahhh this would be AMAZING!!!!!!!! I remember this time we had to wait at least 10 mins b4 we got into the actual game. One of my teammates 'made a sandwich'during the time it took to load :P Also in loading screen(blind pick) is where you first see the enemy's champions so that would be a fantastic time to communicate about matchups and etc! And then there's the opportunity to sort out role problems if there are any trolls...
I think these would be great features whenever riot gets around to a new client. I'm not sure how it would go over with the current, seeing as how many problems it already likes to have. It would also go great with the ranked experience they are testing. It would actually sell riot's idea of team work and communication, at least during the pregame.
They're doing a new one now, actually. Or at least they've announced that they're working on one. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/na/site/2016-season-update/client-update.html
Thank you! I thought I remembered them posting about that, but couldn't remember so figured not to include that in my post. Would have looked rather silly if I was wrong!
The first part would be really helpful, especially for those of us who live pretty far out and have to spam 20 trace-routes just to see whether or not they can play :p
