Even if it's not on Urgot anymore, I think Hyper Kinetic Position Reverser should be reused.

It really is just too cool of a spell to throw away.

I do like his new ultimate, but the feeling of dumping the enemy carry right next to a Leblanc while fearing away their team is just great.

Slap on a new name, maybe swap out the fear for something else if it doesn't fit the aesthetic you are going for, and put it on a new champion.

I think it's pretty likely that it, or a very similar spell, ends up on a kit at some point. Completely agree it's a sweet ability, just gotta get it onto the right champ.

#Rename Ekko ult. Win freaking win.

I would be fucking moist if they renamed Ekko's ult to something more scientific/creative.

It would completely fit his character.

i would just point out that this spell would create a very uninteresting gameplay because:

either you use it on a tank, and thus it ends up imbalanced because you swap a carry for a tank

or it's a squishy support, and then you get an uninteresting gameplay like VEngeful Spirit in dota2, where her kit is like karthus and is balanced around dying everytime

Not if uses a "Tag" mechanic from Reksai and Kayn's ults. And has stealth. A stealth supp sounds insane, but fun at the same time.

I still wait for one... at least one that isn't considered a ward...

Teemo He sits in a bush, Laughs his ass off out of sight - Impish glee in hands...

This has been a haiku. It took more than 10 minutes to write. Why did I need to do this lol

You were possessed to do it xD

u've never have met a Teemo support. And u may want to try it, it's actually a counter pick against Caitlyn in lane if played right and comes in very handy in current meta as far as i see it.

I have 5W 1L as teemo support so far in ranked and 0W 1L as teemo top, only cuz i play top about once every 3 patches when i dont get support. Prob will stop playing teemo support when cait gets nerfed tho.

Anu3isII2 votes

I understand he can be a major counterpick to Marksman, but you must take into account the enemy Support too, and how they are gonna scale into the game.

I mean, a good Morgana can be a nightmare for Teemo as she can shield his blind, engage on him and his ADC all game long. Karma loves wars of attrition, especially with squishy champions that have no sustain. Hook champions tend to murder him with their chain CC and not-blinded ADC's damage.

I don't say Teemo Support isn't good, just that he looks like an extremely niche pick, with very few match-ups where I consider it to be safe to pick him. Bot Lane tends to be a clown fiesta in the last few seasons...

that's why ima stop playing teemo support when cait's no longer an OP champ. And that specific niche just happens to occur frequently in current meta as of patch 7.13

edit: just found out cait got nerfed

Could replace the dash with the Reverser and either balance it as a regular skill or have it as his 2nd Ult to make Urgot more a unique champion.

Ralanr2 votes

I don't think it could be a basic skill.

MetalGearTeemu1 votes

I never understood this. The pull into fear bomb seems counterproductive to what urgot wants as this short ranged bruiser champion with cigargun legs.

Wouldn't it make more sense to pull urgot to the target and execute him to fearbomb the team around them and better position him for continued fighting?

Slap on a new name

So....you want to change the best part of the ability?

Bârd11 votes

I like the name, but "Hyper Kinetic Position Reverser" wouldn't be the best name if the champion they put it on didn't have a focus on machinery.

I'd rather it be on a magic focused champion with a different name than not be in the game at all.

I would love to see Position-Reverser on a portal-based Tank.

A portal based tank you say? I am intrigued.

I know, right? A champion with gameplay built around portals is something we're still lacking. Being able to warp around one's self/enemies as well as redirect projectiles would all be great skills for a Tank. Though I imagine catching enemy Ults in a portable hole and then dumping them on the enemy ADC's face Mister Game and Watch style would probably result in some rage.

The Choncho11 votes

Redirect projectiles huh? I like that

Karfuss1 votes

Sounds like an even more obnoxious Yasuo windwall that'd have to be an ultimate ability. Perhaps if the ability applied to only single target skillshots, then it could be interesting.

But redirecting things like Ezreal and Jinx ultimates, or Heimerdinger's E ultimate, is going to get very broken very quickly. But the idea of redirecting an Ahri charm, Elise cocoon, Ezreal Q etc if it was to hit could be an interesting mechanic, and relatively harmless.

Think more like Braum's shield against a single enemy champ's projectile. Once cast you pop up a portal for half a second and catch the first projectile that touches your model. You can cast it again two more times over the next (duration) seconds. If you catch three enemy projectiles, you can activate the portal a fourth time to vomit a bunch of damage/CC on medium range target.

Plenty of counterplay both as and against, I would say.

It should be given to a tank support since it can operate as a sacrificial move.

What about a new ult for Kayle, seeing as how she's getting a VGU ~~soon ~~eventually?

ModCaptainMårvelous5 votes

I'd actually be hesitant about that.

Giving a support suppression/swap is immensely powerful. Not to mention in a scenario where you trade kills, trading the ADC/fed carry for the support is an almost 100% win in most circumstances.

mikemcparty2 votes

Never seen an "archivist" on the boards. What do you do exactly? Just really curious.

Whatever they do, it must be marvelous. [slayer-jinx-wink]

Maybe if riot toned down snowballing across the field, it wouldn't be so game changing to happen once every few minutes.

Salson4 votes

It does sound like a cool support ability. In fact it is a support ability, at least for those who know it's origin.

More specifically, both of those ultis are based off of Shendelzare Silkwood's ulti from the original DotA. Let's be careful not to start a fandom war, yes? :)

ZapMyHeart4 votes

I think if they slap it on a tank, it would be a really great ultimate to use.

On Urgot, who is relatively squishy, wasn't able to make the full use of it without him being a casualty most of the time.

SarlonDubious4 votes

Hyper Kinetic Position Reverser should be the name of his new E now. [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Chembaron Yamada5 votes

Urgot: Beware my Hyper Kinetic Position Reverser! Vi: You just tackled me and then threw me behind you! Urgot: It's the Hyper Kinetic Position Reverser! Can you be cool and play along just a single time?!

SarlonDubious2 votes

Urgot anime when?

BeatzBoyFTW1 votes

Tbh, his current ult is nothing more than a spammable "I need instant damage reduction" ability without using any logic of messing with the targeted enemy's position. At least the new one really fits him well.

Bârd18 votes

The position change is the primary function of the spell; you can initiate a fight by getting the enemy carry instakilled.

The damage reduction is only there so you don't meet their same fate.

realDRdeal5 votes

The damage reduction is soooooo much more than that. It basically wins 1v1s if you time it before the enemy's Big Damage Ability (tm).

BLACK REALM GOD1 votes

isnt his W basically the same thing?

Bârd6 votes

Uh, no. Not remotely.

His current ultimate suppresses, swaps positions, and then fears around Urgot, giving damage reduction.

The new W is a shield with a machine gun attached.

Awoof14 votes

Maybe he meant his E. 'Course, still not the same.

BLACK REALM GOD2 votes

the move where he dashes in and throws the opponent behind him. i would consider that a position exchange. it doesnt suppress or fear, but if used in conjunction with the R move it's pretty much the same thing. the R suppresses opponents that are at the execution threshold and it fears all nearby enemies once they're killed. so if you use the R and then dash into them to throw them behind you into your turret and then press R again to execute them it works the same way only the kill is guaranteed.

and there's the added bonus that the dash is a dash and not just a targeted spell. so it can be used on its own and it's a basic ability so it can be used more often.

deathgod51 votes

well they will rework malphite eventually :)

how would they put this onto a mountain is what i'm wondering..
