2/26 PBE Update
  • Attack range increased from 525 to 550

##Paddle Star (Q)

  • (damage changed, now gains damage based on Zoe's level, Q first hit no longer applies passive's damage, AoE lowered to 80% for those not directly hit.)
  • Damage increased from 45/60/75/90/105 (+20% AP) to _50/75/100/125/150 _(60% AP)
  • No longer also deals More Sparkles! damage to the first target hit
  • Now also gains base damage based on Zoe's level 7/8/10/12/14/16/18/20/22/24/26/29/32/35/38/42/46/50
  • Now deals 20% reduced damage to enemies not directly hit.

Spell Thief (W)

  • Bubble acquisition range increased from 525 to 550
  • Damage increased from_ 70/115/160/205/250_ (+60% AP) to 75/120/165/210/255 (+75% AP)

#What are everyone thoughts on these?

I'm happy her Q got some damage back, though I'm sad to see her passive doesn't apply on hit anymore. I hope it's enough to give back her waveclear. The range increase should also help her gain some extra damage.

Now deals 20% reduced damage to enemies not directly hit.

I'm not sure if this means enemy champions only, or enemy minions as well. Hoping it's only champions. If I Rioter could comment to clarify that would be lovely.

I'm not sure how much we'll feel her W's increase in damage but I welcome it none the less. Personally I think her E and R are in a fair spot after 8.4 that they don't need to be touched.

Seems more appropriate now. They removed a lot of the toxic elements and extras that her kit shouldn't have had in the first place in order to streamline her kit in line with everyone else.

Tried her on pbe. She does even less overall damage then now, that's not a buff it's a nerf. At full build her passive damage on q was the only thing that kept her up. Right now (patch 8.4) her max range q does 1.2k on a dummy, in patch 8.5 it does 700... Sooo the damage on q got nerfed again in exchange for? More range and 10% scaling on w? Is riot trying to get her to 30% win rate?

The problem is that her q damage got nerfed not buffed. Removing her passive removes more than half the damage of the spell and the increased damage can't compensate

Dude start a game with zoe and look at the bottom part of her q, the damage from her passive has a min and a max removing that max zoe's q gets nerfed

They need to increase her Q ap ratio by another .2 ,as it is it takes 534 ap to even up with the current Q damage on single target, which is already kind of lacking atm.

Right now her q with 6 items does 105+134 to 265+335 plus the passive damage that does 546 just with the ap scaling damage on a max range q.

Seen it a few moments ago. They did exactly what us high mastery points Zoe players have thought a long time ago. Increase AP ratio, remove passive (which makes no sense). So that she’s a glass cannon AP Carry that can only one shot if she lands her full combo (which requires an excellent positioning in TF) E Q Q R + AA (Max distance Q of course).

High risk (unless over a wall lol), high reward.

The scaling doesn't make up for that i tried it the damage is way lower as i wrote up there

The passive do scales on distance it's written on the bottom part of her q and right now it contributes to about 60% of the damage of the spell

Hopefully riot can see that and change it cause right now zoe could beat ornn when he came out when it comes to suck
