so if it wasn't clear this account for me is new, and I havent played for a hot second and decided to make a new one. now I heard that runes would be free and did research on it and there ARE IP refunds for anything bought with IP (such as runes and champions) but I am confused about the cutoff date. if I say bought a champion and 5 runes tonight, would I get a 100% refund on the IP I spent?
No. All runes bought up till around a month ago would be refunded when the Pre-season hits. Runes bought now (as they have all been discounted to 10 IP) will not be refunded.
the new runes aka runes reforged will be free . and the runes that you have now will become essences .
blue essences are the new ip
1 rune = 100 blue essences 1 quint = 300 blue essences
i'm not sure about rune pages but i think they are also getting refunded.
Okay so yeah 1 rune is 100 BE (Blue Essence) A quint is 300 BE BUT you missed the deadline already ALL runes bought after the announcement are not getting refunded but in return they only cost 10 IP. Your not getting any refunds on champions unless you spend one of your 3 refunds. Your going to be given 5 premade rune pages that CAN'T be changed and every account is given 2 rune pages that CAN be edited either in champ select or in your collection.
