a 25 game chat restriction for one game after I JUST got off a 10 game because I was reported by a intentional feeder is absolutely absurd

Those are the logs for clarity, now Im not complaining that I am punished (again for some bullshit of dealing with trolls) but Im complaining about this failure of a system that just punished me for ONE FUCKING GAME.

Riot has constantly stated, yes the above behavior is "toxic" (debatable) but that one or two games where you loose your cool is fine as long as its not repeated offenses, (which goes for each level of their punishment system)

As in 10 game restriction: you need to be negative for more than just one game unless severly toxic 25 game restriction: even if you just came off a ten day or had a ten day: you need to be reported in multiple games during the 10 game or after the 10 game to give reasonable evidence that you are continuing your restriction.

ok fine, ill admit I was probably a bit unfair to this one person (because I know you white knight riot supports will constantly defend trolls) ILL ADMIT I WAS IN THE WRONG FOR ONE GAME, but then thats it... no other games provided, no other evidence, just a previous ten game chat ban (in which clearly I wasnt being toxic or idve been hit with this earlier) but all it takes is one game, and boom 25 games I cant chat? yall wanna promote being positive, taking away the ability to chat isnt very helpful (esp in ranked play)

on top of that what good does a chat restriction do when there is loads of voice chat programs out there... and it doesnt even apply to pre game post game chat.

AND ON TOP OF THAT Why isnt riot going to address the bug with chat restrictions where It says I have no available messages left and ill earn one at 04:00 in game time, yet you never earn them because your game time is past four minutes already? and knowing riot has this bug in place why arent they going to fix it, and put a pause on handing out chat bans (you know, maybe give players an in client message saying they will be chat banned once a bug is resolved, but any further actions might warrant a more sever punishment etc.)

ill tell you why: because riot and this entire toxic as fuck community doesnt actually give a shit about player reform. you all would rather be care bears and be nice to everybody and let trolls run rampant and not punish them (because due to "privacy" reasons" riot can never actually tell you names or cases where players have been banned for trolling) rather than agreeing trolls deserve to be told off and told that they are fucking assholes for feeding or ruining games, instead of having this community that openly accepts them but villifies the victims who get mad at them.

just look at these forums, about 90% of "omg im banned why?" posts involve somebody who was toxic TWORD A FEEDER TROLL OR GENERAL HORRID PLAYER THAT INTENTIONALLY RUINS GAMES, not actual toxic people who go around tell people to kill themselves or using slurs

TLDR?: Riot an most likely you reading this, dont give shit about player reform, and this system is beyond outdated and broken and needs to be overhauled

You didn't have one or two games you lost your cool. You had literally just been punished for losing your cool and you came back and instantly lost your cool again. That's not rare. That's common and expected - which is not okay when what is common and expected is you being toxic. Furthermore, it is expected that after a punishment, you'll be trying to be a good player. If you trying to be a good player involves you being toxic right after your last punishment, it is obvious that punishment did not work - hence why you're given a stronger punishment. Keep in mind any reports during or shortly after your current chat restriction are likely to result in a 2 week forced (and unpaid) vacation from League.

More than likely, multiple other players reported you. Many times when people complain "oh the person who AFKed reported me" or "oh the other toxic person reported me" they're proven wrong by a Rioter who points out others reported you. Even so, it doesn't matter - your behavior is a problem regardless of if the person you were being toxic to reports you or whether someone else on your team reports you.

Hey, on a completely blunt and you'll probably flame me for being this blunt towards you note:

YOU are the problem with the games you're in. Your toxicity is the reason you are not climbing. You are losing games because you spend more time getting tilted over "it's always someone else's fault i don't deserve this" than you do playing. Lose the attitude and realize that YOU are the problem here if you want to climb.

If you didn't read the above and want a nice version: Your attitude is a big impact in games. Games are won or lost all the time, even with people who have 10+ deaths, just because the team either bands together to win, or gets torn apart by one toxic player. You're being the toxic player tearing apart your team's chance of winning - however small you may think it is. Stop harassing others, stop blaming others, and start trying to be the positive force on your team - encouraging, uplifting, and nice. You'll find you'll win on average 20-30% more games than you currently are (not that your winrate will increase by that much, but every 5-7 losses you would've had, you'll win one because you're being more positive).

Even if you aren't toxic, you may have triggered the automated system by saying the "R" word too much (report). If someone reports you and you have said that word several times Then you are likely going to get a punishment.

Riot doesn't care about consistency or integrity. Doesn't matter if the other player called you a %%%%%% or %%%%%%. You get punished and they likely won't.

Just get creative with your words so the automated system doesn't ban you for saying key words like "report" or "inting" too many times. Just get used to it because Riot Support will always justify the system even when they know it's wrong. If they actually changed the system, I might think I have been transported to an alternate dimension where everything is opposite.

Unrelated to your case, but take it as a friendly advice:

Once you're in the cross-hair of feedback system, the escalation to other tiers of punishment is swift. I suggest you get better at using the mute button and vent your frustration elsewhere, if you want to keep your account. It doesn't matter what you think is right or wrong. You do not make the rules.

I understand you're frustrated, and take this from someone who got permanently banned in a similar case; Muting people is easier than getting permabanned.

Just stop using the chat altogether. Mute someone the moment you detect negative behavior. It doesn't matter if it's directed towards you. Just do it.

I know the aforementioned advice is shared a lot on places like summonerschool. I always thought of it as a circlejerk for "improving your gameplay", but it's more than that. The Instant Feedback system is tied to the Honor system.

If you value your account, then you should focus on leveling your honor again. Remember, whatever happens - make sure to not slip up EVEN ONCE.

If youre being harassed, mute the person. You arent going to get nor do you deserve any sympathy by "defending yourself" by flaming them. Especially if youre going to just call everyone a troll and spam call for reports. Riot doesnt need to revamp anything, you need the revamp.
