@Riot How do you feel the Viktor nerfs have shaken out?

TL;DR -> title

Longer form:

Viktor's been a champ with a winrate fluctuating around 50% for the last few patches 22/49 on Champion.gg's winrate list. Despite being a squishy, immobile, mid-range mage, he's found a following due to his massive burst and wave clear as well as being one of the few champs midlane that won't lose at champion select, and is dependent more on in-game decisions than the matchup. Something I would consider a good thing, and within stated intent.

I'm actually confused as to why he got nerfed in the first place, but it happened, and his winrate dropped to 47%. Despite a shift and increase in AP from the initial purchases to the perfect hex core at level 15-18, his late game (40+ mins) winrate is actually sub 50%.

Is this what was intended? Do you feel he's fallen in line with where you feel he should be? Where was it that he was so out of line that he needed a nerf in the first place?

Especially considering his fairly balanced success rate in both Solo Q and professional competition.

Viktor got nerfed because the Reddit salinity meter exceeded 50%, with comments like:

"VIKTOR OP"

"deathray too strong pls nerf"

"Viktor only broken midlaner atm, pls nerf"

IMO, they should have just tweaked Viktor's AP ratio on his E (Death Ray) rather than nerf his Hex Cores. (Because apparently people bitch about Viktor having an "OP" earlygame, but if you complain about Fizz's earlygame being "OP", the Fizz mains come out of their holes and say "git gud".)

But that's just my two cents. Viktor's still a fun and great champion to play.

Hmm, 48.5% winrate at high play experience 125+ games.

46.49% winrate average, 41.47% in sub 25 min games going up to 48.64% at 40+ min games.

Still wondering how riot feels about the results of his changes.
