Lee Sin counterplay

Since the god fist lee sin skin came out weve been seing a lot of them, and it made me realize, when he jumps to a target to shield he gets the shield as soon as he starts moving. I think it should be changed to give the shield on arrival. It offers little counterplay as of now, and people & statistics say/show he is too strong right now, so I think this would be a good change for him.

50% win rate with a 40% play rate. The win rate seems respectable, but then you have to account for all the people that play him only occasionally/ are bad, which is a lot because of his high play rate. When looking at the statistics for dedicated players(players that play him often and well), its a 52.5% win rate on top of that he has a 5% higher win rate early-mid game, and only a 1% lower win rate late game. On top of all this he is ranked 2nd best jungler, and is pick or ban in pro play. [statistics from champion.gg]

I would also like to make my statement more concise, he isn't too strong in the sense "OMG NERF THIS GUY", its more like, he has a lot to his kit that feels like you can't do anything about, paired with his high skill ceiling and subsequent win rate to that high skill ceiling, he feels just a tad over powered.

Seems balanced by numbers.40% play rate because he is fun to play.

Wonder why Morde has 1 % (Might be less)

There are some champs with higher numbers and are easier to play and carry with.

Bad Lee Sins don't win games. They just don't.

You're thinking of a different ability of his. I'm talking about his W, not his Q. I'm proposing that the shield on W isn't instant unless self cast, and when used on allies or wards, the shield is applied on arrival to you and your ally, instead of when cast. This gives a meaningful choice/trade off of mobility vs instant shield, and doesn't feel as bad when you're about to kill an enemy lee sin with an auto/projectile and he instantly blocks it with a shield while travelling outside of your range(so you lose all future chances to kill) at the same time.
