Dragons

If an enemy player gets fed you can comeback by making a good play and getting shutdown gold/exp.

If an enemy team pushes hard and takes some towers you can comeback by making a good play and taking some of their towers to even things out.

If an enemy team gets dragons... you cannot come back from the power discrepancy. It's permanent. There is no comeback mechanic. Why? It isn't fun to try and finish out a map with a permanent power discrepancy.

If you lose 4 drakes you basically lost the map, and what i mean is that if in 25 minutes you were not able to make a play that leads to a drake then you shouldn't probably win.

this is why it is so important to take into account the first two drakes, because the 3rd and the rest after become the same type. perhaps your team doesnt benefit as much from say mountain/ocean and those were the first two, that leaves Infernal or Cloud for the rest of the game. both of those are in my opinion, the best 2 drakes with Cloud being first with its massive CD reduction if you give up the first 2 and go for 4 of the clouds. its insane when you're a blitzcrank with a 7.2 second cdr on your ult. you basically can throw the first 2 drakes for the first 2 rift heralds, and then prioritize fights at the dragon pit for the rest of the game afterwards
