Stealth and Ignite

So I just played a Blitz game where I kept igniting this rude AF Akali player, but she would just stealth and disappear. Doesn't Ignite still reveal people? "Grants you vision of the target" would seem to imply that I WOULD GET VISION OF THE TARGET. How is this balanced? Doesn't that defeat the utility purpose of Ignite? (Yes, you heard me, the UTILITY purpose of Ignite.)

Oh, she also just pressed R on my team a bunch of times in a row, so we died a lot. She also had more lifesteal than we had damage, so there was that too. But, BALANCED. SO BALANCED LOL RITO'S BALANCE TEAM IS ON GREAT STUFF. GOD BLESS CALIFORNIA.
