The Biggest Problem of Draven Day From A Support Main.

TL;DR: The game is in a horrible balance state. I think we wanted a gamemode where it was fun that we could get away from the flame and torment of normal games.

As a Support main, it's hard enough. We get ridiculed, blamed, flamed, and beat upon for the smallest of reasons. We have a lack of build paths, lack of gold and experience. We have to be the warder for the team generally and we have to keep them all alive.

The build paths and balance options are lacking all across the field (except for ADCs and AD assassins).

Bot lane is dominated by 2-5 adcs (Ezreal Lucian Lucian just to name a few)

Mid lane is dominated by Corki Zed and AurelionSol (2 of which are AD's and the other nobody knows how to play against yet)

Jungle and Top lane are the roles that havent changed much (unless you count Graves spam)

Supports are generally one of few in each category. Janna Soraka Blitzcrank Thresh Braum

I think the community wanted a break from the brokenness that is every day LoL. I think everyone wanted a pleasurable day of playing the game where they could do what they wanted. I think we all needed that game mode and the fact that it didnt come was big enough of a downside. The other fact that the draven day seemed more like a cash grab annoyance didn't help the situation at all.

Thoughts? Death Threats?

Edit: This post was clearly not meant to be about how well I play support. I posted this less than 5 minutes ago and I am already receiving these comments.

This is about the game. Not about how well I can carry as support.

don't be a support main.

You either get used to it or don't. I have a feeling you're low freelo because supports only get shit talked in Bronze/Silver/Sometimes Gold. I'm a support main and I hardly ever see shit talking my way. But I can also land Nami bubbles, or play Freelo Raka where I do nothing but heal.

Who's to say this post is about how well I play support? Because it isn't.

Its about how the community is disappointed that urf isn't here and its my personal thoughts and opinions about the situation.

Aurelion Sol is easy to play against.

Get in point blank range and kill him. Hug his face. Make his mouth open and ride it with your majestic shaft.

Such is the way one handles Aurelion Sol. If you can't do that then you're in for a bad time.

Nobody knows that for some reason. It's a bit ridiculous.

"Give me sympathy guys! I'm a poor support main who people are mean to on a video game! Ignore that everyone is mean to everyone in this game, supports are poor battered house wives and need your sympathy!"

Also, League is in about as good of a balance state as it was in season five, or better.

I don't think any season six champion has had a win rate over 60%. After the juggernaut update we had two, Mordekaiser and Skarner.

Sejuani was also far more dominant than any one champion is now when she was OP.

The post is from my perspective. It's reasonable to mention my in game experience as of recent.

League is in such a good balance state that towers are rubbish, ADs are the only ones with viable build paths with some actual variety, and AP champions aren't the best in really any spot.

You say that like we have been in season 6 for over 5 months. We are barely 4 months in. They made a huge change to a class of champions rather than specific champions in that class, so nobody will be over anyone else by a significant margin.

Because she was Sejuani. The buffs she recieved buffed her weak points and her strong points were built upon making her very hard to deal with.
