Things I hate about league

Ok so, youtuber uberdange explains this too, but, why is riot doing this to the game, before it was finding out what builds worked on certain champs, what things you could exploit like magewick, AP trist, ADC kennen and all that stuff. We can't even forget AP yi, you will be missed. But all of these incredibly fun builds, just full BS, but riot just has to take em out. Why? Because they base everything on professional play, not fun, only professional. Before ranked, yeah you play serious and stuff, but hey, you want to try something fun, why not? you cant, everything has been taken out and even if you do find something that works, you'll get raged by your team who will just blame everything on you. In ranked, you play the game competitively, that's why it is there, to play for real, not joke or anything, so have 2 metas. A full BS meta that just everyone f*cks around with and a competitive meta, where everyone is actually serious and you get punished hard for messing with ones game. So that way, you hav a fun part and a serious part. But now, there just is no fun, yeah sure they have those featured game modes like urf and OfA, but, i mean, they last soooo little compared to the entire season. And even then, they can be no fun, most of the time you can only have fun if you play the OP champs like kat in OfA and shaco in urf, but if you dont choose the OP champs, you can't have fun, you just get raped. So, its just really no fun much more, yeah i'm still gonna play it but there is little fun to be had.

Because ap yi warwick and adc kennen were actually too good. Pro play sets a large ground for balancing because it brings things that are blatantly overpowered to the light.

People used those unconventional builds because they were overpowered, not because they were "interesting" or "different." Riot's fine with different build paths that aren't typical - I mean, AP Nasus, ADC Kayle, and AP Miss Fortune are still around after several years. They're different, they're interesting, they have unusual strengths and weaknesses. They're just not blindingly overpowered like AP Yi was.

I mean, take a look at some of them. AP Nasus is still around, because he trades his tankiness for poke. ADC Kayle trades utility for damage. AP MF trades sustained damage for burst. AP Yi was nerfed because he traded sustained damage for infinite sustain and the ability to delete carries. AP Rek'sai was nerfed because she traded mediocre sustained damage for burst mage damage and really solid sustain.

They don't delete alternate builds. They delete imbalanced alternate builds.

Because they were unfun to play against, broken and not healthy for the game. Exploiting RITOs game design mistakes is not the point of this game.

Because they base everything on professional play, not fun, only professional.

And there's a reason for this: so that the game would be BALANCED. But actually, RITO has been slacking recently since we got these bullshit juggernauts that are overwhelming, broken and draw permabans in competitive and in ranked ladder as well.

So... enjoy your exploits while you still can, scrub.

If you find it "fun" to play broken champions that win match-ups simply because they have bigger numbers and stats, then maybe this game is not for you.

In normal games, you can play off-meta as much as you want ... also in Team Builder and more importantly, normal games with a full friend team.

Yep. My number 1 complaint: The meta. It's SO strictly enforced... If I could get my friends to regularly play hots or dota, I enjoy both of those games much better. But hots is too easy for them and dota's too hard. so... meh. Stuck playing the same exact comp over and over. :(

sorry but the only one who had any sort of "fun" with AP Yi was AP Yi himself since he was the most frustrating thing to deal with. The same can be said about most off-builds. There are some off-builds that work even to this day (ADC Kennen is still a thing, full AP builds on certain supports, AP Kog is still a thing among others). Sorry that the only things you find 'fun' to be the broken things that frustrates everyone else. Things like that are not healthy to the game and need to go
