My turn to complain about placement rankings.

I went from gold 3/4 last season to silver 4 after my placements. I would just like an explanation as to why everyone gets placed into a lower tier than what they were playing in the previous season. Doesn't really make sense to me to put in the time and energy to raise your rank every season to only get shafted when the new season rolls around. Having played this game since season 1 and always have to restart in Silver it gets old.
