Taric is on their to-do list. I think hes behind poppy though, maybe behind warwick, most definitely behind Sion.
Make him the Krogan Warlord from Mass Effect 3 multiplayer.
And throw in 
in his story. It only seems fitting, now that our Crystal Bugger has crystallizing venom. DISNEY STRIKES BACK.

My guess is that if he gets an update, it'd be accompanied by a VU. I can't see him getting a huge change without modifying his current super-old appearance.
I have this image in my head,where taric has a very long range for melee champion.Just his image of a gem-knight with a gigant hammer,make me think of a ~250 AA range.
And a blind would be so cool.
I remember hearing somewhere that Taric's being looked at for some kind of rework. Most likely an update to his kit, but who knows, he could be in line behind Sion and Urgot for a complete relaunch.
