Decisions made in the Top Lane

The tl;dr question here is: take tower or teleport bot?

The scenario is as follows: Let's say you just killed your enemy laner with the help of a friendly gank and he is on death time for the next 20 seconds. Your jungler pings the ~30% health tower, which with both you and him, plus the siege wave coming, you will be able to take.

On bot side, you see that the enemy jungler, seeing that your jungler is top, is ganking your botlane, where all four champions are quite low.

Do you not take top tower and tp bot to protect your botlane and get some kills, or do you just take tower and back, since the fight is over by then?

If this depends on the champion I'm playing, let's just say I'm playing someone ad with gap close potential.

With current changes TAKE TOWER. Your teammates respawn the towers don't.

tp bot if you can get the bot tower off of tp'ing to it, otherwise just take top. you probably used your ult and are low on health after killing the enemy laner top so you probably won't be in much of a state to engage another fight afterwards.

Wouldn't your JG+Wave be able to take tower, while you help bot lane? 20 seconds on rez is insanely long, your JG should be able to take the tower easily solo.

Even if the Enemy bot+jg backs off when/if they notice your TP you'd still have a secured top tower + your bot lane wouldn't (maybe) be giving away kills. I guess it really depends if you feel that you can for sure change the outcome of bot lane by helping or not.

Is bot lane fed? Is the jg fed? Are you fed? lots of things factor into those types of decisions, if you think that there is a chance that you would end up just giving the bot gank a free kill by TPing in then yes just take the tower, if you have all your CDs and they aren't fed then TP down to help.

Depends in the situation.

With the new patch first tower is worth more than 2 kills or a dragon.

However I play some strong utility champs like kled so if I see some shenanigans I will TP bot.

Not to help my teammates, but for me to farm the enemy champs and get some gold.
