How to win 1v1?

So tomorrow I'm 1v1ing this kid who called me out for being a scrubberducky... I am unranked, he's plat 1 but I have played longer and more games than him. I already beat him Irelia vs Lee Sin. He said "I don't even play Lee man. 1v1 me vs. my main Yasuo if you think you're good" (he actually has 100+ games on Yasuo) So now I know for sure he'll play Yasuo, so could anyone tell me what the most favorable matchup I could go for is? I was thinking Xin or Jax or Riven, or just sticking to Irelia. I am, for the most part, equally adept at almost all champions. Also, just any 1v1 tips in general because I don't much. Thankss

You got triggered by scrubberducky. You deserve to lose this.

Most bruisers are a good choice against Yasuo. While Irelia can work fine, I would recommend one of the following if you are looking for an easy advantage: Chogath Renekton Fiora Rammus XinZhao Darius

Keep in mind that these recommendations assume you know how to play the champion and match-up. If you don't, I would probably stick to Irelia since you know her.

Either way, expect them to either be a sore winner or to blame you for playing an "ez-mode skill-less champion".

Plat 1s usually don't 1v1. You might have confused plat with silver.

1v1s are stupid, pointless, reflect nothing about how League is played, and stupid. Listening to someone cry about 1v1ing them is stupid, accepting a 1v1 is stupid and the sad, pathetic people who go "1v1 me at baron brah" when they lose are even stupider.
