Was there a buff to Kalista?

Or did everyone just suddenly learn the proper technique to jump after every single attack? Because even I figured it out by accident just yesterday, And now I'm seeing Kalista players making a fool out of mage mids and ADCs in the early game who require a skill shot. It's really painful to see them now.
