for a little comparison of resource costs for AoE ults, here's 
vs
Ekko Mana Costs: 100/100/100 at 6/11/16 Cooldown: 110/90/70 Damage: 200/350/500 + 130%AP (nuke) Self-Heal: 100/150/200 + 20%/25%/30% (+3.33% for every 100AP) of damage taken in last 4 seconds.
Zyra Mana Costs: 100/120/140 Cooldown: 130/120/110 Damage: 180/265/350 (+70% AP) (after a short delay from casting) 1 second knock up. Plants within the ult will get a 50% AS boost.
and for extra insult here's 
Ziggs Mana Costs: 100/100/100 Cooldown: 120/120/120 Damage 200/300/400 (+72% AP) minions take double damage
But hey this is fun, here's one that's similar to Zyra! AoE ult with similar damage/cc but no additional mana costs.
