Should Riot delete Sion? His play rate in ranked went down from 9 percent to 3 percent after remake

His play rate in ranked went down from 9 percent to 3 percent after remake in ranked play, you could say nobody plays him even. Anyone that plays him knows how useless he is now. I rather have one ability from any champ then Sions entire kit with its health scaling. Have wukong or galio only be able to use their Q or W, They will be better champ then Sion. Current Sion is a garen without the damage and tankiness and even less fun to play. Old sion was 5x more powerful and had two different play styles and 10x more fun to play.

I think its time Riot deletes Sion from the LoL server hard drive.

He probably saw a decrease in pick rate because all of the AP Sion players looked for another champ to pick up. He was reworked into the tanky juggernaut that he was always MEANT to be (see: old lore, health stacking, frontline brute), and as such lost that cheesy burst strategy that only worked because his Q and W had good AP scaling.

I haven't been in the League community for too long, and this is a question more out of curiosity, but has RIOT ever deleted a champion? Pretty sure they haven't or I'd have most likely heard of it at least, but really not sure ;)

Riot should revert the rework.

The new one has more "gameplay", but the community doesn't care about "gameplay", they want 1/ their old favourite champion and 2/ a viable champion. The new one is neither, so the rework failed.

This sounds like somebody missing their cheese laning AP Sion…Old Sion was the most cancerous thing in the game. There was absolutely no counterplay to his instalock stun, walking up to you and busting his shield and doing over half your health at lvl 3. The only thing you people can complain about is what they did to his health stacking

I never liked sion until update. Now he is the epitome of brute. Sion is a ton of fun to play.

Well im kind of biased. I don't think bringing back old sion is a good idea. Altough i was one of teh very few guys who played him (both ad and ap ) despite him being in a terrible state, but i accept that rito and the community wanted change on him cuz reasons. But the outcome of teh rework is a disaster. This champ is not funny to play

(or you think silver guys it's fun watching you channel your Q or ULT and everyone dashes out from the aoe EVERY SINGLE GODDAMT TIME you try to use it, or when your passive fails to deliver a single hit on any champion for the 98231721983798th time and so on)

, is severly underpowered and makes no thematical sense. Sure big zombie guy, but man the big zombie guy doesnt start kicking minions with his huge leg for 50 magic dmg, the big zombie guy doesn't start running (MAN A ZOMBIE RUNNING UNDERSTAND THIS?!!?!?!?) halfway across the map while shouting something instead of saying RAARHGZ GAHR ZARARAWWAR. He has a huge big badass look, but you have to play like a slapped bully kid in detention relying on your teacher's help to even clear the classrom because he is slow and clunky as hell.

So while i don't support bringin back old Sion (even tho i'd be happy with him, he really would have been okay with a few modernization buffs) this new one is absolute crap.
