Why is Veigar never played in the LCS?

Any high ELO guys know why not? I know that his stun if used improperly makes him really hit and miss but the burst he can still provide and the utility seems excellent. He also seems to not be played in ranked all that much either.

He stun is very easy to play around and dodge, and he has no real early game presence since his only form of reliably trading is with Q.

His stun isn't that reliable since it offers enough of a window to escape and its easily telegraph when he might use it. They're also more likely to dodge his abilities during it.

If veigar gets picked in draft usually the team will be way ahead of him and counter pick him (With meta picks like kassadin, ori, syndra, cassiopeia, and have communicated jungler assistance.. or just roam and ignore him.)

Overall everybody knows how to deal with him and how to make sure he doesn't get to do anything in proplay. Is the same reason why nasus has never seen much play, sure their late game is op, but a competitive team knows how to abuse their do nothing early and close the game.

Because his laning phase can be exploited, if he tries to use his E aggressively he'll get punished super hard and the other midlaner can either constantly push him under tower since he has almost no waveclear early on and roam or freeze the wave under their tower since veigar has no mobility or reliable peel and would be an easy gank

cuz there are good players in the LCS/PRO PLAY unlike majority of solo queue players

Could be a viable pick of the team composition is right and the enemy cannot punish effectively. I see no reason why he would fail if these two requirements are met.
