Is me being toxic in this one game warrant me to get a 14 day ban?

I was banned for 14 days and in the reform card was this one game's chat logs, I had played this match a little less than 24 hours before I got banned. I was toxic and it was a rough game for me as I was getting absolutely stomped and I should have been able to calm myself down. But does being toxic in this fashion in this one game really warrant a 14 day ban? I've never punished before or received any kind of warning and i've never inted.
